About Mean Street Guitars

First of all,  you can probably tell by now, I'm a huge Eddie Van Halen fan.

All of my musical influence is based on the David Lee Roth era of Van Halen and the style of guitar playing that Eddie introduced to the world. He is a true "Guitar Hero" to so many people, including me. His guitars are mainly simple, one pickup Strat style shapes, but his technique and style are what made him the legend he is today.

I mainly started Mean Street because there are still fans that want a guitar in the style of their guitar hero...and not too many fans want to, or can, for that matter, pay over $2k for a guitar...much less 25k!

So that brings us to Mean Street Guitars, one person, one guitar shop, trying to provide a few EVH fans with a great sounding, great playing guitar that resembles their "Guitar God" hero.

If this should offend any intellectual property rights, then the individual in question should rethink their market strategy and provide an affordable graphic guitar that the "true" fans can afford, not just the collectors!

Sincerely,

Mitchel Floyd

Back to the original "About" page...

Mean Street Guitars is located in Pensacola, Florida off of Perdido Key and has been in business since 1998.

I've been building, custom painting and selling guitars online since 1998. Not to mention playing guitar for the past 16 plus years. I first started Mean Street Guitars to have a place for Van Halen fans to purchase replica guitars...but the main reason was to provide the "real" fans of EVH with a similar, quality guitar at an affordable price.
I will continue to stay on the "Mean" side of the street to bring you guitars that are quality built, very affordable, excellent playability, and may actually look pretty close to those 2k & $25k guitars but at a fraction of that cost and using almost the exact same parts...go figure right?

Here's more of what separates Mean Street from those huge online guitar warehouses:

* I take trades & negotiate every deal personally...mostly by email, sometimes by phone if needed.

* You will be kept up to date on all your orders via personal emails, tracking numbers, etc.

*You may also contact me at any time to check on the progress of your custom order.

* One of a kind custom paint & finishes!

*Artwork on guitars is signed and dated. (Mainly under the neck plate)

I'm also the webmaster for Mean Street Guitars so please let me know if you have any problems with the site.

Thanks again,

Mitchel
