Custom Guitars for sale

I can build you any of the guitars shown below or your custom idea, just email me.

Mean Street "Checkers" guitar (SOLD)

Mean Street "Checkers" guitar...Gibson/Epiphone Explorer. Modified to look more like Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick) "Checkers" guitar. This one is relic'd a little more than the one below...black & white graphic showing the nitro fading to yellow, just like Rick Nielsen's original guitar. Seymour Duncan TB14 in the bridge and a TB59 in the neck. I used the Trembuckers instead of the standard Humbuckers that most people use...I had them in the guitar before and they sound great! Schaller tuners, Switchcraft jack, Gibson 3-way switch. Epiphone hard case is included. $1995 plus shipping (SOLD)

*Please note: This is not a Hamer guitar...probably the last one I'll paint using that logo.

Mean Street Intruder model...beautiful amber burst quilt top, basswood body, rock maple neck, 6105 medium jumbo frets, R2 nut, Mean Street custom wound direct mount pickups, Floyd Rose FRT-1000 tremolo, Switchcraft jack, Schaller style tuners. Gator tolex hard case included. $695 plus shipping.

Mean Street "Checkers" guitar (SOLD)

Getting the most out of a Gibson/Epiphone Explorer. Customer wanted me to build a Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick) "Checkers" replica guitar...this was the most affordable way. A little modification to the body and the rest is all in the paint job. I used one of my personal Epi/Explorer as a "test" guitar since I hadn't built one of these before. That way I can make sure the Expolorer he sent me to build & paint is perfect! The "test" guitar also turned out perfect...and is now listed for sale. These are probably the only ones I'll build using the "Hamer" logo.  Very mild relic'ing to the paint, (as per customers request)...black & white graphic showing the nitro fading to yellow, just like Rick Nielsen's original guitar. Mean Street custom wound pickups, Schaller tuners.
